I’m overwhelmed to be taking a group of very very brave children to Official NewStyle Radio 98.7FM to play their show created in my new community project recorded at Oscar Sandwell, the centre for Sickle Cell Anaemia and Thalassmia blood disorder.
The show was recorded this summer and the majority of the children, siblings and friends attending the centre are affected by the disorder. The children, their hard work and bravery will be broadcast live on the radio tomorrow.
Well done to all who took part in the project and everyone at the centre.
